Giovanna Accordino is an actress, dancer, and stage combatant from Gowanda, NY.
She is a recent graduate of SUNY Fredonia where she received her BFA in acting and her
associates degree in humanities from Jamestown Community College. Giovanna is active in the Jamestown theatre community appearing in local productions such as Dog Sees God, All my Sons, and South Pacific.
She also has appeared in a commercial for JCC and a music video for Almond & Olive which was filmed in downtown Jamestown. Her most recent productions have been Clue at the Lucille Ball Little Theatre and Antigone at SUNY Fredonia.
She has experience and training in a variety of forms and methods including Shakespeare, Commedia del’arte, and the Meisner acting method. She has taken a range of
dance classes in cities all over the country from Anaheim to Manhattan and is versed in a
number of techniques including ballet, jazz, and modern. She is also a certified stage combatant
in unarmed, rapier and dagger, and single sword.
Whenever she has the chance, she loves to travel the country and world to seek new
challenges for herself. She wants the chance to bring back different views and methods of
teaching from everywhere to her students in Jamestown. There is immense talent here, and
these kids deserve nothing but the best!
