Alyssa Porter was born and raised in Northeast Ohio. She received a bachelor’s degree in English from Ursuline College and a master’s degree in recreation administration and leisure studies from the University of Toledo.
Alyssa is currently the Director of Youth and Family Programs at the Chautauqua Institution. Prior to moving to Chautauqua County in 2019, she served the Cleveland area working for various arts and recreation programs including Cleveland School of the Arts.
The power of play, creativity, the arts, and exploration are central to her approach to supporting strong communities. Alyssa is thrilled to support this work with Infinity, deeply believing that when children are given a safe space to explore, take risk, and demonstrate their creativity, all people benefit.
Alyssa lives in Jamestown with her spouse, Clark, and daughter, Peyton.
