Infinity COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Statement

To our valued families, students, and team,

As the world has been navigating the impact of COVID-19, we’ve spent time preparing for how the virus may impact the communities we serve.

While there have not been any confirmed cases in Chautauqua County at this time, we do think it is important to discuss how Infinity is prioritizing the health and safety of our students, employees, and families at this time. We are committed to preventing the spread of viruses and supporting the health and well-being of our community.

Every program year, we have students of all ages arriving daily at the Infinity Center. We’ve always taken great pride in the cleanliness and upkeep of our facility, and we know this is more important than ever right now. Our facilities team focuses on cleaning and disinfecting the Infinity Center during the daytime hours before students and instructors arrive. They prioritize disinfecting frequently-touched surfaces such as the reception area desks, phones, doorknobs, sign-in pens, pianos, tables, and bathrooms. These already-established practices will continue and increase in frequency.

Until notified otherwise, lessons will continue as usual. We know that children thrive on routine and normalcy.

We will ask that all students wash their hands upon entry to the facility, and wash again as often as needed (if they use the restroom, touch their faces, etc). Hand sanitizer is also always available, year-round, at the front desk.

We ask that if you or your child is ill, please stay home. If you need to cancel for health reasons, we will offer FaceTime or Skype lessons as an alternative. Should you wish to take advantage of this service let Infinity and your instructor know before your lesson so we can prepare the call. All you need is your phone, iPad, or laptop. Learning materials from your instructors can be emailed in advance as well. Students are encouraged to continue to practice!

Please see the attached PDF from the Chautauqua County Department of Health regarding guidance and safety tips, and utilize them as they fit your family and your needs.

We are closely monitoring the recommendations and protocols of the Chautauqua County Health Department and NY State Department of Health and Human Services, and will notify you as changes arise.

Thank you all for your cooperation as we work together to navigate this unprecedented situation. If you have any questions, please let us know.
