Infinity Announces “Step up for the Arts” Annual Campaign!

Infinity Visual and Performing Arts, Inc’s Board of Directors is excited to announce Infinity’s First Annual Fundraising Campaign, “Step Up for the Arts.”

Funds raised will support a number of facets of Infinity programming, including: Student scholarships, private and group lessons in music, art, dance, theater, and literature, spring and summer day camps, performance ensembles, leadership and marketable skills development classes, Infinity Arts Café and more.

Infinity’s Board President, Jason Sample, says, “This will be a great way for individuals and businesses in the community to support Infinity and its mission of providing affordable arts education opportunities for our local youth.”

Volunteer campaigners will seek to raise $10,000 for Infinity with fundraising efforts kicking off on January 30, 2018 and running until Infinity’s Annual Art Market and Auction event on Saturday, March 10.

Infinity Board Vice President, and Campaign Chair, Karen Schiavone says, “Step Up for the Arts gives our dedicated volunteers an opportunity to share their Infinity story with those who may not be as familiar with Infinity’s mission and its vital role in our community.”

Infinity empowers youth from all walks of life to maximize their potential by developing leadership, creativity, and confidence through music, arts, and performance. They are able to do this by creating a safe, supportive environment for young people to harness their creativity, use their time in positive ways, explore, experience and excel in the arts, and become future community leaders.

Executive Director, Shane Hawkins, states, “Every day we watch Infinity students challenge themselves, build their creative skills, and gain empowerment. Our community has been nurturing of the Infinity concept. We appreciate any help and support that keeps our students and this program moving forward.”

2017 Is Coming To A Close!

2017 has been an incredible year of growth for Infinity. Our development as a creative arts education program is a collaborative effort, and we are thankful for everyone who has a hand in making our programming available to the young people of our community.

Thank you to our Staff, Board of Directors, students, families, local and regional funders, community supporters, and partner organizations for their continued support, and for allowing us to spread Infinity’s mission to more students each and every year!

In our 2016-2017 Program year more than 13,500 individual lessons were experienced by nearly 500 private lesson students. More than 1,800 group classes were attended by students at the Infinity Center and in our many offsite programs, and 50+ performances happened at our Infinity Arts Café!

It’s not too late for YOU to make an impact in 2017! Consider Infinity when making your charitable donations. We can’t wait to see what 2018 has in store for us, and we’d love for you to be a part of what our young people can accomplish!
