Dillin Conrad, Sherman, Grade 11 - Song Lyrics The World's Demise
Do you ever try or do you just roll over and die? When the time comes, will you stand and fight or will you be crushed by the might- of your crimes? Is this what you want, is this what you need? To stand by and watch as I bleed? Why do we even start that which can't be stopped? This is why everything is falling apart. War, crime and violence! This for me is the universal alliance. Is this what you want, is this what you need? To stand by and watch me bleed. If this is what the world is becoming, then we all better start running. Can leaders really be trusted, or will the world be busted? Are we all just so jaded that we are letting everything become faded? Is this what you want, is this what you need? To stand by and watch me bleed.

Like a wall our sadness tears us apart As different as Winter and Summer in the northern hemisphere Until we follow the wall to the end Where we meet once again Fighting the whole way As I look at You You look at Me Sadness turns to happiness As our frowns are turned Upside down The wall falls apart as We once were

You know it’s going to happen before it does You close your eyes and trace yourself for the Invertible, incapacitating pain. It comes and you realize you didn’t brace yourself Nearly hard enough. You want to cry out in pain but you wont let yourself You are screaming in your mind But silent to the world. No matter the pain You won’t scream You wont speak. You wont open your eyes For fear they will betray you. You are still silent. Death is close you can till But not close enough The pain is too much to fear But you must you must remain strong, silent, Unwavering. For you do not suffer alone.
I thought it was Forever I thought I would never be left alone As my Happiness would never end It ended so quickly Felt like I could be LONLEY for the rest of My LIFE Like a Butterfly in a lifeless Desert Until a Key unlocked the gate When thousands of Butterflies Flew in and lit up the SKY Right then I knew LIFE goes ON
Hearing the word makes your spine tingle Have you ever thought what it meant What lurks behind closed doors What goes bump in the night What hides in the shadows Stories of the Boogeyman The monsters and ghosts that hide in the walls Do you believe? Ignorance is the number one cause of death Cancer is a teddybear compared to this They’re more than just stories; How dare you ignore me! I am what you fear. I am the feeling of being watched. I am the one who wanders your halls at night, I am unforgiving, I am unbiased, I am the source of your nightmares. You must take precautions, Watch what you say. Do not tell your children I am a myth, I will make them believe. I will consume their feeble minds, They will join me, They will pay for your mistakes. Marching in cadence to my heartbeat, walking through the flames to greet you. I open my gates to you, And you will suffer for all eternity, inside the fiery pits of HELL.
Fighting for freedom (like a lost cause) Greater hands hold you (pressures building) A spiral downward (falling faster) Into the black abyss (dying quickly) The darkness is closing in (the light is calling you) You fear the end (His face calms you) You exhale your final breath (he takes your hand) Finally you can sleep with no fear of waking (He wakes you to a new beginning)

When you enter the gates, there is no time to hesitate. When you walk through the front door, you have the urge to see more. When you walk in the house, be quiet as a mouse. For people are listening to their audio tour. The living room, Dining Room, Bedroom and more, Jungle Room, Record room, And an awesome... Car room. The basement was coolest, room by a mile, Yellow, Blue, Silver and White What a sight! When you walk outside, you may begin to cry. For when you turn the corner, there the king of rock and Roll lies, Next to mother, Grandmother, and Father. But altogether, the experience is wonderful. Seeing all there is to see, and you will make memories.
